📋 Description

• Conduct end-to-end Data Science projects, from needs discovery to delivery of results. • Translate business challenges and objectives into statistical models, predictive algorithms, and Machine Learning-based solutions. • Structure, organize, and document analytical projects, ensuring governance, traceability, and scalability. • Develop, validate, monitor, and evolve statistical and Machine Learning models. • Collaborate with business teams and Data Engineering to define requirements, data sources, and implementation strategies. • Perform exploratory analyses, data cleaning, and data preparation. • Define success metrics, monitor model performance, and propose continuous improvements. • Produce executive materials, reports, and presentations, translating technical results for diverse audiences. • Lead alignment and follow-up meetings with stakeholders, promoting incremental deliveries and continuous feedback capture. • Evaluate analytical approaches, risks, limitations, and trade-offs. • Serve as a technical reference, supporting junior and mid-level data scientists through mentoring, technical reviews, and methodological guidance. • Promote best practices in Data Science, model governance, and development of the analytics community.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, Quantitative Social Sciences, or a related field. • Postgraduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research, Analytics, or a related area. • Solid experience as a Data Scientist, leading end-to-end projects. • Advanced proficiency in SQL and programming in Python and/or R. • Advanced knowledge of Statistics, Mathematical Modeling, Machine Learning, and data analysis techniques. • Experience with code versioning using Git. • Experience building, validating, monitoring, and evolving statistical and predictive models. • Knowledge of data architecture and data handling, with frequent interaction with Data Engineering teams. • Experience communicating results and recommendations to both technical and executive audiences. • Preferred experience with Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud services for data and Machine Learning. • Preferred experience with MLOps, pipeline automation, and deploying models to production. • Strong ability to solve complex business problems using data. • Autonomy to lead projects with minimal supervision. • Excellent communication skills to interact with technical teams and executive stakeholders. • Ability to influence decisions through evidence-based analyses and recommendations. • Collaborative mindset and interest in sharing knowledge and developing people. • Intellectual curiosity and a continuous pursuit of new techniques, methodologies, and innovative solutions.
