📋 Description

• Build solutions for real customer problems using the technology best suited to the task • Work across front-end, back-end, data pipelines, and AI models • Operate in cockpit mode by directing AI agents to write code, run tests, open pull requests, update tickets, and manage work systems • Balance elegant code with rapid delivery • Explore approaches that may improve how software is built • Help identify and hire engineers who can operate at the required speed • Work directly with customers and founders in client delivery • Ship production software that meets SLAs and improves client business metrics

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years of software engineering experience • Strong coding skills across multiple programming languages • Understanding of how businesses make money with software • Comfort working independently in ambiguous environments • Comfortable using a terminal • Experience building personal apps, scripts, or tools • Daily use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent • Willingness to learn and use Git • Ability to reason through problems and explain thinking clearly in writing • Experience shipping full-stack features, working directly with consultancy or agency clients, coding and automating as a QA engineer, building production UI as a designer, developing hands-on as a business analyst or PM, or building applications as a DevOps/platform engineer • Ability to work across engineering, delivery, and client contexts • Willingness to work across the stack rather than specialize narrowly
