📋 Description

• Take responsibility for the technical development, stability and performance of both Shopify stores • Develop innovative Shopify front-end and back-end solutions • Proactively deliver new features and keep themes and apps technically up to date • Create Shopify apps, including integrations with third-party systems, and integrate them into existing Shopify stores • Translate wireframe designs into code • Implement custom applications, special features and layout changes • Ensure an optimal user experience • Support the team in technical SEO and ensure a performant, search-engine-friendly foundation • Monitor industry trends and new technologies, and adopt tools and practices to improve the web presence

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in web development • Preferably experience in a high-growth DTC or eCommerce company running its own Shopify setup • Solid knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, React and CSS/PostCSS • Experience with Shopify Plus and Shopify App Development (front-end and back-end) • Confident use of Shopify CLI, Liquid, Theme Editor (schema/settings) and Shopify Theme Sync • Experience developing back-end functionality with Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or similar technologies • Proficient with GitHub • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Excellent German language skills • Very good command of English • Ability to work independently, with self-discipline and a results-oriented approach • Motivated, reliable, loyal and conscientious • Openness to change and willingness to challenge the status quo and contribute new ideas • Willingness to travel occasionally for team events and twice-yearly on-site meetings
