• Prepare income tax returns for various entities, including Individuals, Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, and Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs). • Prepare financial statements, Business Activity Statements (BAS), Instalment Activity Statements (IAS), and all related compliance documentation. • Complete all client accounting and taxation compliance tasks with high levels of accuracy and efficiency. • Coordinate closely with the Australian team to ensure all deadlines are met and high-quality client outcomes are maintained. • Provide assistance with general public practice accounting and taxation matters as required.
• Minimum 3 years' current experience in Australian public practice tax and accounting. • Relevant Accounting qualification. • Strong working knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirements. • Demonstrated ability to independently prepare tax returns for all entity types and complete associated compliance work. • Experience preparing financial statements and activity statements. • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines. • Excellent English communication skills. • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a team. • Proficient in Australian accounting software, including Xero and related practice management systems.
