• Lead agile rituals: Facilitate refinement sessions (refinement), sprint planning, and daily alignments with the engineering and UX teams, ensuring everyone understands the value of what is being built. • Decode product complexity: Understand needs and dive into documentation from insurers and partners to map fields, pricing rules, coverages, and assistance services that need to be integrated into our pricing engine. • Ensure journey quality: Validate and test deliveries together with the QA team, ensuring that the calculation produced by the platform is 100% faithful to the insurer's reality (preventing issuance or claim errors). • Analyze product health: Monitor dashboards to identify bottlenecks (e.g., why are quotes from Insurer X taking more than 5 seconds? Where are users dropping out of the flow?). • Manage crises and prioritization: Handle real incidents, such as the sudden unavailability of a partner insurer's service, quickly deciding contingencies to avoid impacting brokers' or customers' operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields. • Solid experience (2+ years): Proven experience as a Product Owner, able to manage a backlog, write well-crafted user stories, and define clear acceptance criteria. • Insurance / Insurtech background: Previous experience in the insurance market (brokers, insurers, or tech) — you must be familiar with terms such as net premium, deductible, claim, endorsement, and commission without basic training. • Technical comfort: You don't need to code, but must understand what JSON is, how API integrations work (REST/SOAP), and be able to read data mappings (From/To). • Data-driven orientation: Ability to make decisions based on usage and behavior metrics, not just guesses or intuition. • Resilience and negotiation: Ability to say "no" to stakeholders with solid reasoning and to remain calm when resolving complex integration issues in high-volatility environments. • Clear and fluent communication (bridge between worlds): Ability to communicate clearly, empathetically, and pedagogically with completely different audiences. You will need to translate technical insurance jargon from a policy for the development team, and also explain complex API architectures in simple terms to business stakeholders. We seek someone who listens actively and uses communication to untangle issues and align expectations without misunderstandings.
