📋 Description

• Create possibilities, solve problems, and establish working relationships with customers • Explain the benefits of Red Hat cloud solutions to customers and understand their infrastructures and business needs • Work closely with customers on architecture, deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Red Hat cloud and container solutions • Assess, design, and implement Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Automation Platform, RHEL, ODF, and Kubernetes-based technologies • Implement automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions • Address infrastructure concerns including networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, high availability, and system resilience • Learn and apply container orchestration, container registries, container build strategies, cloud storage, and software-defined networks • Serve as a subject matter expert on site for technical, developmental, and strategic IT needs • Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of complex open source solutions • Adapt to changing customer requirements • Respond professionally to incidents, escalations, and exceptions • Deliver timely, in-scope results on-site and post-engagement, including project journals, status reports, and standard documentation • Participate in sales and proposal presentations and ongoing team account activities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • Master's degree in computer science, engineering or MBA • 5+ years of experience with Linux system administration, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or a derivative • 4+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, AKS, GKS, EKS, Docker, Podman, or other container and PaaS technologies • 3+ years of scripting or programming experience • Knowledge of system management, including installation, custom channels, deploying virtualized systems, basic client-based security, repositories, and creating core builds • Excellent technical abilities • Solid communication and customer-facing skills • Ability to learn new technology quickly • Proven experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Ansible Automation Platform, and other Red Hat products is a plus • Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, including Agile (e.g. Scrum), Waterfall, and Incremental is a plus • Agile and DevOps mindsets desired; willingness to study and learn Agile practices • Red Hat Certifications are a plus • Fluency in Spanish is a plus
