📋 Description

• Manage and resolve complex end-to-end employee exits with minimal supervision across multiple international jurisdictions • Provide guidance on termination, resignation, transfer, employment contracts, redundancy processes, employment laws, and regulations • Lead and facilitate client and external employee meetings, including workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, separation and settlement negotiations, and termination outcome meetings • Influence and negotiate positive outcomes in complex terminations • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders including payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions • Draft, tailor, and administer termination and supplementary documents • Maintain employee records in compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations • Process offboarding in Remote's internal HRIS platform • Collaborate with Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance teams • Provide informal escalation support, expertise, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members • Provide guidance on Employee Relations resources and complex workplace scenarios • Conduct preliminary assessments of workplace concerns and identify applicable regulations and potential solutions • Track and monitor employee relations cases and coordinate follow-up • Resolve queries on offboarding and first-level employee relations matters • Identify and drive process improvements, automation, product development, and customer and employee experience improvements • Determine methods, procedures, and standards for new assignments and adapt complex techniques to achieve results • Report to the Manager Employee Lifecycle, Employee Relations & Transitions

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies and employee-lifecycle exposure • Tertiary qualifications in HR/labour relations/employment law considered a plus • Proven experience independently managing voluntary and involuntary exits with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance • Experience providing HR advice and guidance on employment laws and regulations across various jurisdictions • Understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline approaches, and workplace investigation fundamentals • Ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments and analyze complex HR issues • Ability to independently research issues, develop practical solutions, and translate findings into usable team resources • Ability to communicate recommendations effectively to clients and internal stakeholders in ambiguous and unfamiliar environments • Superior communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills • Ability to independently lead difficult conversations toward positive outcomes while maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality • Business-level (advanced) written and spoken English proficiency • Aptitude for innovation, process optimization, automation, and championing best practices • Efficiency in operations with strong record-keeping and data-integrity awareness • Tech-savvy and able to collaborate asynchronously using various tools and adapt to evolving systems • Ability to work autonomously and cohesively in an international, fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed • Proactive, self-motivated, accountable, and able to inspire others • Strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency • Submit application and CV in English • Prior employment verification check
