📋 Description

• Manage and resolve end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions. • Advise clients on termination, resignation, transfer, employment contracts and redundancy processes. • Lead workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, separation and settlement negotiations, termination guidance and termination outcome meetings. • Negotiate positive outcomes in complex terminations while balancing competing stakeholder interests. • Coordinate with payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, trade unions and other stakeholders to ensure compliant offboarding and audits. • Draft, tailor and administer termination and supplementary documents while maintaining confidential employee records. • Process offboarding in Remote’s internal HRIS platform with Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance teams. • Serve as subject-matter expert for offboarding queries. • Guide clients through Employee Relations resources, policies and processes. • Conduct preliminary assessments of workplace concerns and identify applicable local regulations. • Coordinate employee relations matters with internal and external stakeholders. • Support clients with progressive disciplinary approaches and documentation requirements. • Monitor employee relations cases and ensure timely follow-up. • Contribute to process improvements, automation, product development, and customer and employee experience initiatives. • Report to the Manager Employee Lifecycle, Employee Relations & Transitions.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, with generalist HR competencies and exposure across the employee lifecycle. • Proven experience managing voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with care, sensitivity and legal compliance. • Comprehensive HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations spanning various jurisdictions. • Ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments, analyze complex HR issues, undertake research, provide practical solutions and communicate recommendations. • Basic understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline approaches, and workplace investigation fundamentals. • Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills. • Business-level (advanced) proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus. • Aptitude for innovation, process optimization, automation and best practices. • Operational efficiency, thorough record-keeping and data integrity. • Tech-savvy and able to collaborate asynchronously using various tools and adapt to evolving systems. • Ability to work autonomously and cohesively in an international, fast-paced, asynchronous, remote environment. • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed. • Proactive and self-motivated with ownership and accountability. • Strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency. • Prior employment verification check.
