📋 Description

• Own month-end close, including journals, reconciliations, accruals and reporting packs • Produce management accounts with actionable commentary for leadership • Run cashflow forecasting and working capital management • Oversee payables, receivables and payroll processes • Strengthen financial controls, approvals and documentation • Liaise with external accountants on VAT, compliance and year-end • Partner with leadership on budgets, pricing and spend decisions • Monitor cash position and unusual ledger activity • Keep the close calendar on track and review incoming work • Improve financial processes and tighten controls without slowing the business

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years' finance experience including management accounts responsibility • Recognised accounting qualification or actively studying (SAIPA, CIMA, ACCA or similar) • Excellent written and spoken English for board-level reporting • Stable fibre internet • Backup power for load shedding • Private home office • Advanced proficiency with Xero or similar cloud accounting software • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets modelling • Rigorous approach to controls and deadlines • Sound commercial judgement
