πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee all aspects of the laboratory revenue cycle, billing, and reimbursement operations β€’ Manage the full end-to-end laboratory revenue cycle including charge capture, claim submission, payment posting, and A/R follow-up β€’ Supervise and develop a billing team of approximately 40 β€’ Ensure accurate CPT (80000 series) and ICD-10 coding for all laboratory procedures in compliance with payer, Medicare, and Medicaid requirements β€’ Oversee claim edits, denials, appeals, and reimbursement optimization β€’ Establish and maintain SOPs, KPIs, and billing workflows to improve accuracy and compliance β€’ Collaborate with laboratory operations, finance, and IT to resolve billing or system issues β€’ Prepare RCM performance reports and identify revenue leakage, denial trends, and process improvements

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Certified Professional Coder (CPC) β€’ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field β€’ 3+ years of experience in clinical laboratory billing, including CPT and ICD-10 coding for lab services β€’ Experience with AdvancedMD preferred β€’ Supervisory or management role in a medical billing department for at least three (3) years is preferred
