📋 Description

• Manage the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials. • Identify qualified suppliers while leveraging existing agreements. • Manage purchase order placement from requisition to invoice payment for assigned commodities. • Obtain price quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery. • Analyze supplier quotes and make sourcing recommendations and decisions. • Ensure product on-time delivery to schedule. • Initiate supplier negotiations on price, lead time, and terms and conditions. • Complete purchase order documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Ensure timely placement of orders to support business needs and meet defined turn times. • Interface with requisitioners and other functional groups. • Work independently and as a team member on additional Supply Chain projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. • Minimum of 1 year of experience with SAP procurement software or similar ERP systems in a supply chain or procurement environment, including Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX or PRISM. • Advanced proficiency in English. • Proficiency in SAP (Procurement functions, Business Warehouse, Business Objects). • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Familiarity with lean principles and process improvement strategies. • Knowledge of Indirect commodities in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in written and spoken English.
