📋 Description

• Identify qualified suppliers for requirements, leveraging existing agreements • Manage purchase order placement from requisition through invoice payment for assigned indirect commodities • Obtain price quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery • Analyze supplier quotes and make sourcing recommendations and decisions • Ensure product on-time delivery to schedule • Initiate supplier negotiations on price, lead time, and terms and conditions • Complete purchase order documentation according to company policies and procedures • Place orders promptly to support business needs and meet team-defined turnaround times • Interface with requisitioners and other functional groups • Work independently and as a team member on projects supporting the Supply Chain organization • Manage the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost-effective procurement solutions, maintain compliance, and improve processes

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience • Minimum of 1 year of experience with SAP procurement software or similar ERP systems in a supply chain or procurement environment, including Oracle, Epicor, People Soft, APEX or PRISM • Advanced proficiency in English • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in written and spoken English • Proficiency in SAP and Ariba (Procurement functions, Business Warehouse, Business Objects) • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Familiarity with lean principles and process improvement strategies • Knowledge of Indirect commodities in a manufacturing or aerospace environment • Experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) purchasing, including sourcing and procurement • Must be authorized to work in Mexico without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future
