📋 Description

• Provide regional finance leadership and business partnership across EMEA • Own regional financial reporting, planning, compliance and controls • Partner with the CFO, regional business leaders and global finance teams to drive financial performance, decision-making and governance • Provide financial insight, challenge and recommendations for business decisions and opportunities across EMEA • Lead financial support for regional growth initiatives, business planning and key projects • Promote financial accountability and commercial awareness • Own EMEA budgeting, forecasting and financial planning with regional stakeholders and global FP&A • Analyze financial performance, trends, risks and opportunities and provide recommendations • Ensure timely, clear and useful financial information for regional leaders • Own quality and timeliness of regional financial reporting and review financial statements and outputs • Oversee statutory, tax and regulatory compliance matters across the region • Identify, manage and escalate compliance or entity-related matters • Maintain knowledge of local requirements across EMEA • Own regional financial governance, internal controls and risk management • Act as senior regional finance partner and escalation point for operational matters • Partner with Accounting, Billing, Treasury, FP&A, International and other shared teams on scalable processes • Lead finance and business process improvement initiatives • Support migration from Microsoft Dynamics SL to an updated ERP platform, representing EMEA requirements • Lead and develop the regional finance team and shape its future structure and capability • Build collaboration and accountability across regional finance, global finance and business partners • Manage relationships with regional leaders, global finance, shared functions and external advisors • Serve as principal finance interface between EMEA operations and global finance • Balance regional and global priorities while reporting directly to the CFO and via dotted line to the Managing Director, EMEA • Communicate financial information, updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders • Perform other reasonable duties supporting business needs

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate and professionally qualified management accountant (CIMA or Dutch equivalent) • Proven experience overseeing finance operations across multiple EMEA legal entities and jurisdictions, including financial governance, payroll compliance, supplier management, financial reporting and local statutory and regulatory requirements • Significant proven experience reviewing financial performance, management reporting and key business metrics, providing financial insight and accurate management information for business decision-making • Demonstrated ability to provide financial analysis, challenge and assurance to senior stakeholders • Experience supporting establishment and ongoing management of legal entities across Europe, including financial, tax, payroll and regulatory requirements • Experience working within a global finance environment across multiple regions and legal entities • Experience operating within a global, matrixed organisation and influencing stakeholders across regions and functions • Strong understanding of VAT compliance and financial controls across multiple entities and jurisdictions • Strong understanding of international tax requirements, including corporation tax, VAT and transfer pricing • Strong understanding of financial systems, reporting tools and financial reporting processes in a multi-entity international environment • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills • Experience leading, managing and developing finance professionals, including performance management, coaching and capability development • Experience building and leading high-performing teams • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Collaborative leadership style across functions, countries and regions • Exceptional organisational and planning skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a commercial mindset • Proactive, adaptable and solutions-oriented • Experience handling confidential and sensitive financial information • Strong understanding of international payroll processes and compliance requirements • Understanding of multi-currency reporting, cash flow management and financial implications of multiple jurisdictions • Alignment with SANS' mission, values and commitment to excellence • Willingness and ability to travel as required
