📋 Description

• Analyze workflows across operations, accounting, vendor management, and other business functions • Meet stakeholders to understand current work processes • Map manual processes, bottlenecks, repetitive tasks, and unnecessary handoffs • Identify and prioritize high-impact AI and automation opportunities • Translate operational challenges into technical requirements and implementation plans • Design and implement quotation automation workflows • Automate quotation information collection, organization, review, and approval steps • Build AI-powered vendor communication workflows for drafting, follow-ups, requests, and status updates • Organize and track vendor communications, escalating sensitive matters for human review • Analyze accounting workflows and automate repetitive data entry and administrative work • Improve data capture, transfer, categorization, and maintenance across operational and accounting systems • Create validation and exception-handling processes • Research, evaluate, and implement AI tools, agents, workflows, APIs, webhooks, integrations, and custom solutions • Determine when AI versus traditional workflow automation is appropriate • Test solutions, establish safeguards, and document implemented systems • Learn import/export workflows and identify industry-specific automation opportunities • Work with operational and accounting stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements • Continuously identify, prioritize, implement, and optimize new automation opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in AI implementation, automation, business systems, software development, process improvement, or a related field • Demonstrated experience building and implementing automations in real business environments • Experience conducting business or process analysis and translating findings into working solutions • Proven ability to take projects from initial problem identification through implementation and optimization • Import/export, logistics, international trade, or related industry experience strongly preferred but not required • Hands-on experience with modern AI and automation technologies • Experience building AI-powered workflows, agents, or internal business tools • Familiarity with workflow automation platforms and system integrations • Understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data integrations strongly preferred • Ability to evaluate AI tools and select appropriate solutions • Ability to learn new platforms and technologies quickly • Strong business-process documentation and analysis skills • Ability to identify inefficiencies, repetitive tasks, and workflow bottlenecks • Ability to translate business problems into technical requirements • Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities • Ability to evaluate automation opportunities based on measurable business value • Knowledge of import/export operations strongly preferred • Strong attention to detail with financial and operational data • Ability to independently drive projects from identification through implementation • Must be available to work U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone • English resume required; English proficiency assessed in application
