📋 Description

• Work on complex geoprocessing projects • Process satellite imagery • Perform land-use change detection, predictive analysis, and environmental monitoring • Develop Python/R scripts to automate processes • Propose new geotechnologies • Integrate GIS systems with cloud platforms • Serve as the team’s technical reference • Support project coordination in defining methodologies and ensuring deliverable quality • Assist the technical development of junior and mid-level analysts • Conduct internal and client trainings • Carry out quality control of geographic data • Prepare technical opinions, reports, and strategic presentations to translate complex data for coordination and stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Cartographic Engineering, Forestry, Environmental Science, Geoprocessing or related fields • Strong experience in geospatial projects and remote sensing • Advanced proficiency in GIS tools (QGIS and/or equivalents), cartography, and image classification • Advanced knowledge of Brazilian biomes and their socio-environmental dynamics • Intermediate English • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace • Google Earth Engine (GEE), SQL, PostGIS, Python/R and Machine Learning are desirable • Analytical thinking, technical autonomy and focus on solving complex problems • Excellent verbal and written communication to report data and insights to management • Consultative, collaborative attitude and ease working in a team • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize to handle simultaneous demands
