📋 Description

• Monitor IT systems, applications, interfaces, cloud services, and end-to-end services • Assess monitoring alerts, incidents, and performance anomalies based on their criticality • Initiate appropriate measures in response to threshold breaches, outages, and availability risks • Administer and optimize monitoring tools, dashboards, alert rules, and escalation paths • Support incident, problem, event, and change management as part of ongoing IT operations • Analyze trends, capacity, and recurring operational issues to achieve sustainable stabilization • Maintain auditable and traceable documentation of incidents, measures taken, operational records, and lessons learned • Support IT projects, system implementations, and service changes from an operations perspective

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable IT qualification • Several years of experience in IT operations, monitoring, IT Operations, or systems administration • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, ideally Checkmk • Understanding of IT infrastructures, servers, networks, databases, applications, APIs, and cloud services • Proficiency in ITSM processes related to incident, problem, change, and service management • Confident use of SNMP v2/v3, Windows Server, Linux, networking fundamentals, and interface monitoring • Experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or SQL is an advantage • Structured, analytical, responsible, and service-oriented approach to work • Fluency in German and English
