📋 Description

• Lead client implementations across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments from requirements through working Seqera Platform deployment • Deploy infrastructure including networking, DNS, TLS, private CAs, IAM, secrets, container runtimes, and pipeline storage • Deliver within client security and compliance constraints, including when access is limited • Guide clients' IT teams through required infrastructure changes • Build repeatable and safe deployment tooling with pre-flight checks, clear failures, tests, and documentation • Partner with Sales and Scientific Development on solution design and proof-of-concept deployments • Serve as a senior escalation point • Turn recurring client problems into lasting fixes with internal teams • Support clients including scientists, bioinformaticians, engineers, IT, and DevOps teams • Review and improve AI-assisted Terraform, scripts, runbooks, and diagrams before release

🎯 Requirements

• Strong in at least one of AWS, Azure, or GCP • Multi-cloud expertise is advantageous • Exposure to HPC schedulers such as SLURM or Grid Engine is welcome • Confidence across networking, TLS, public and private certificate management, IAM, and access control • Judgment to work within clients' security and compliance constraints • Terraform is required • Familiarity with CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Ansible is a bonus • Docker and Kubernetes expected • Helm experience is a strong plus • Experience building and shipping dependable tools • Comfortable with Python and Bash • Experience with testing, scanning, and documentation • Understanding of workflow engines running against remote compute, storage, and container runtimes • Ability to conduct technical onboarding and pre-sales • Ability to elicit requirements and navigate ambiguity • Ability to work credibly with scientists and DevOps engineers • Ability to research unfamiliar problems independently • Public code repository link and short narrative required with application • Life sciences, bioinformatics, or scientific computing background is nice to have • Technical pre-sales experience is nice to have • Nextflow experience is nice to have • Startup experience is nice to have
