📋 Description

• Review, assess, and create financial models and proposals for new and existing onsite laboratories • Consult with clients and SGS regional and country staff regarding requirements, costs, schedules, and related matters • Work with operating affiliates to implement planning, scheduling, and coordination for new onsite laboratory builds and startups • Model onsite laboratory opportunities using information collected from regional teams • Obtain technical and operational sign-off from Team and Regional Management • Prepare or assist in preparing technical proposals and tender submissions • Communicate with clients to develop opportunities, confirm RFP information, and negotiate to win opportunities for SGS • Schedule and track onsite laboratory designs, builds, renovations, and expansion projects with local SGS operating teams • Confirm and monitor laboratory equipment purchasing to ensure completion, global standards compliance, and timely arrival

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in a Science or Engineering related program, with a strong preference in a Geosciences profession (Geology, Mines, Mineralogy, Environmental Mineralogy, Soil Science etc.) • Select technical experience in a geosciences-related profession with some aspects of business management/personnel management • Strong working knowledge of the mining and minerals industry • Proven time management skills and strong attention to detail • Ability to work well under pressure • Willingness to work extended and/or irregular hours as required by global team involvement • Ability to work well with others and independently, without supervision • Ability to manage a team • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, fluid and highly professional environment • Superior organizational, communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and composition, in English • Proficiency in languages besides English (French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, etc.) is valuable • CV must be submitted in English
