📋 Description

• Own Share's traditional infrastructure foundation, including servers, virtualization, firewalls, and operating systems • Run and maintain hardened, carrier-grade production Linux infrastructure • Operate virtualized infrastructure at scale • Design and defend the organization's security perimeter • Manage network segmentation, VPNs, intrusion detection, and related security controls • Work with routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, and load balancing • Operate infrastructure in a hyperscaler environment • Contribute to Kubernetes-based infrastructure • Scope, build, and own infrastructure and security solutions through production • Use operational learnings to advance the Systems Engineering department

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional systems engineering experience • Ideally, experience inside a telco, ISP, or carrier-grade network operator • Deep production Linux administration experience, including building, hardening, and operating Linux systems at scale • Real virtualization experience with VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, or similar • Experience owning perimeter security, firewalls, network segmentation, VPNs, and intrusion detection • Solid networking fundamentals: routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, and load balancing • Working knowledge of at least one hyperscaler: AWS, GCP, or Azure • Kubernetes exposure • Experience building with AI-native workflow tools • Ability to scope, build, own, and operate infrastructure or security solutions through production
