📋 Description
• Manage ITS and informatics staff performance in informatics initiatives • Represent the information and knowledge needs of healthcare professionals and patients • Manage delivery of SIH clinical systems strategy in collaboration with leaders to promote excellence in patient care • Maintain relationships with key external business partners and other senior industry leaders • Acts as a change agent working with nursing and clinical leadership teams in the identification, development, planning, implementation, and value measurement of overall informatics strategies • Develops an environment for ethical decision-making
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Clinical Informatics or other clinical discipline is required • Active Registered Nurse license required • Relevant job-related certifications with EPIC application certification or proficiency within 90 days of hire is required • Project Management certification preferred • Minimum 6 years clinical experience in primary clinical discipline with primary duties working with clinical information systems within a healthcare setting required • Effective working knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications • Familiarity with Network, personal computer, communications and database systems • Familiarity with data privacy practices in healthcare
