📋 Description

• Publish weekly articles responding to market events, earnings, and companies of interest • Gather global information on newsworthy topics and develop original, often contrarian investment ideas • Present one long-form YouTube video per week, approximately four per month, focused on a stock, sector, or investing theme • Interview executives from listed companies for video content • Turn analysis-based scripts into engaging videos with natural, conversational delivery • Sustain energy, clarity, and personality across 10–15+ minute videos • Make dense investment material accessible and conversational • Work from self-written or editorial-team scripts • Build audience trust and engagement across YouTube, articles, and community • Develop a personal brand as a trusted investment voice while supporting Simply Wall St’s mission • Film on a predictable weekly cadence • Collaborate with editorial and video production teams and incorporate feedback quickly • Contribute ideas while the channel and publication evolve

🎯 Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years writing about markets, investing, or finance, ideally for a consumer or investor audience • Existing on-camera experience in any sector • Deep global market fluency, including following the global news cycle and understanding earnings season and stock-moving factors • Experience as a stock investor • Understanding of fundamental analysis, portfolio management, and long-term investing • Comfortable discussing stocks and markets on camera without sounding rehearsed • Familiarity with long-form YouTube conventions, including pacing, structure, and holding attention over 10–15+ minutes • Self-editing ability and reliability; ability to deliver on schedule • Comfortable adopting AI tools for research and production • Ability to record a video discussing 3 stocks invested in and why • Camera, audio, and lighting setup for recording video • Resume required • Must provide current country/city and pay expectations in AUD equivalent
