Sivara is an online retail brand operating a Shopify-powered storefront (sivara. de) that sells consumer apparel, with visible categories for underwear and maternity wear (Umstandsmode). The site uses typical e-commerce features—shopping cart, PayPal checkout, analytics and marketing cookies (Google Analytics, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Klaviyo)—and targets consumers in Germany and Austria. The business is consumer-facing, offering seasonal sales and promotional banners, and focuses on fashion/lingerie products.

📋 Description

• You will take full responsibility for the finance function, not just individual tasks. • You will work independently, have access to all figures, and sit at the heart of the operational business of a fast-growing company. • You will own our P/L (profit and loss). • You will keep it accurate, maintain actuals and budgets up to date, and identify deviations before they affect us. • You will build and continuously maintain our cash-flow planning. • You will prepare the monthly reporting. • You will handle the monthly bookkeeping preparation in DATEV and work directly with our tax advisor. • You will provide financial analyses for product launches, marketing investments and scaling decisions. • You will actively shape finance processes, automate where possible, and close gaps before they become issues.

🎯 Requirements

• You are studying Business Administration, Accounting, Controlling, Auditing or Business Informatics with a finance focus, ideally from the 4th semester onward. • You are passionate about numbers. • A clean P/L, an accurate forecast and a well-structured Excel/Sheets model make you happy. • Practical experience in a tax firm, audit, controlling or accounting is a clear plus. • You don’t just use Excel/Sheets—you understand it. Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH are familiar to you. • DATEV experience is welcome but not required. • You drive projects independently, deliver high-quality work and keep momentum even when no one is watching.
