• Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives to expand the company’s European footprint. • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring long-term collaboration and customer satisfaction. • Proactively manage the sales pipeline, closing deals to meet and exceed sales objectives. • Work closely with technical experts, senior leadership, and global BD teams to deliver customized solutions for clients. • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform business development strategies. • Represent the company at key conferences, networking events, and industry meetings to enhance brand visibility and foster business relationships. • Utilize CRM and data analytics tools to track progress, generate insights, and refine business development efforts.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific discipline (PhD preferred but not required). • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the life sciences industry, with CRO experience being highly desirable. • A proven track record of securing new business and achieving revenue targets. • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities. • Self-motivation, adaptability, and a results-oriented mindset. • The ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
