📋 Description

• Deliver accurate BAS lodgements and maintain clean financial records • Provide clients with clear, actionable financial insights • Prepare and lodge accurate Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) • Maintain accurate financial records using cloud systems like Xero and Dext • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, payments, and reconciliation • Collaborate with bookkeeping and tax teams to ensure accuracy of transaction recording • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports • Provide payroll support and act as a go-to advisor for clients’ accounting needs

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Accountant within Australian Accounting • Communicator who thrives on being the go-to person for clients’ accounting needs • Prepare and lodge accurate Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) • Ensure GST and payroll liabilities are reconciled and compliant with ATO regulations • Maintain accurate financial records and full sets of accounts across a portfolio of clients • Use cloud systems like Xero and Dext, including fixed asset management, journals, and reporting • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes • Collaborate with bookkeeping and tax teams for accuracy of transaction recording • Provide payroll support and maintain strong communication with clients • Behavioural attributes: Ownership, Humility, Structured Thinking, Data driven, Can have tough conversations, Tech + services savvy, Problem Solving, Attention to detail, Excellent listener, and clear communicator, Analytical Mindset, Collaboration-Driven, AI-ready and curious.
