📋 Description

• Own our CDP, Segment, including sources, destinations, event taxonomy, documentation, and features like Unify and Protocols • Own the data foundations behind product analytics in Mixpanel, including sourcing, taxonomy, and data quality • Partner with engineering, product, marketing, and sales to define requirements for downstream use cases and build reliable connections into tools like Customer.io, Salesforce, and Mixpanel • Apply data governance, QA, and monitoring practices to ensure data is reliable and usable across teams • Replace manual integrations and fragile workflows, including Zapier-based processes, with scalable and maintainable pipelines • Build and maintain analytics-ready data models, primarily in dbt, for core business entities and downstream reporting and activation needs

🎯 Requirements

• Experience working with event and product analytics tooling, including end-to-end ownership of data pipelines • Experience with customer data infrastructure and analytics workflows. Segment experience is a strong plus • Comfort operating in messy integration environments with imperfect source systems, missing identifiers, inconsistent history, and evolving APIs • Strong SQL skills and experience building production-grade data models • Ability to write clear requirements and tickets, then execute independently while coordinating across teams • Clear, proactive communication, especially in a remote-first team spanning multiple time zones
