📋 Description

• Defining and executing the commercial and business development strategy for the Payments Gateway; • Leading and growing the business development teams, setting clear goals and KPIs; • Driving market expansion through strategic partnerships with payment providers (PSPs, EMIs, banks, etc.), local payment representatives in the targeted GEOs (both on payroll and agents) and client payment support; • Overseeing pricing models, ensuring competitiveness and profitability; • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners, payment providers and gateways, local agents; • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to inform decision-making; • Ensuring efficient onboarding processes and compliance with regulations; • Collaborating with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Compliance teams to deliver revenue growth/cost optimisation.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience (7+ years) in senior business development or commercial leadership roles within payments, fintech in high-risk industries (B2B or B2C); • Strong track record in market expansion, client acquisition, and strategic partnerships; • Deep understanding of payment flows, pricing models, and commercial strategy; • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow high-performing teams; • Strong analytical, financial, and negotiation skills; • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience; • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and highly regulated environment.
