📋 Description

• Responsible for the complete postproduction process — from workflows to infrastructure • Supervise video editing and define quality standards • Create reference cuts as orientation for freelancers • Provide editing-level feedback to editors • Set up and manage a board system for all productions • Keep production statuses and responsibilities transparent • Build, maintain and evolve master sessions and databases in Adobe Creative Cloud for each product and feature • Develop template timelines and B-roll for modular multi-market creative production • Source, onboard and test freelancers and content creators • Create briefs, ensure quality and give feedback • Handle contracts, purchase orders and invoices • Extend existing tools and develop new tools, AI agents and automations • Automate recurring processes • Build systems in English for cross-country usage

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in video editing (permanent employee or freelancer) • Experience with project architecture where other editors worked • Responsible for raw footage, backups and a team archive • Experience with Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve beyond basic user level • Knowledge of Shared Projects, proxy and relink workflows, template timelines, and render/delivery specs • Experience setting up production-control processes in a project system, e.g., Monday, ClickUp or Asana • Automation experience with agentic tools like Claude Code or Codex, or with scripting • Business-fluent German and English • Ability to independently identify and solve problems • Quick understanding of systems and ability to self-learn unfamiliar technologies • Build and improve systems rather than only operate them • Assess creative quality in context • Optional: Experience in paid-social contexts with Meta Ads and/or organic content • Optional: Work experience at an agency, production company or high-volume in-house studio • Optional: Responsibility for production budgets from estimating to final accounting • Optional: Experience with multi-market or multilingual productions • Tools: Python, Resolve API, ffmpeg
