📋 Description

• Design, implement, and evolve services and components with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability • Participate in architectural decisions by evaluating trade-offs and documenting choices in ADRs and technical assessments • Ensure quality through automated testing, code reviews, and consistent engineering practices • Work on observability and reliability, using metrics, logs, tracing, and incident analysis and resolution • Collaborate with Product, QA, and other squads to define technical scope and break down deliverables • Provide technical support to less experienced engineers, disseminating best practices and internal framework standards • Work on the AI Squad, contributing to the design, evolution, and support of critical platform components

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience in software development for products • Strong proficiency in Java and Python and their libraries and tools ecosystems • Strong knowledge of relational databases, including modeling, query tuning, and indexing • Experience with multiple DBMSs is a plus • Experience with REST APIs, system integrations, and messaging • Experience with CI/CD, Git version control, and an automation culture • Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly, both in writing and verbally • Experience with generative AI-based applications and LLM integrations is a plus • Knowledge of RAG architectures, including chunking, indexing strategies, reranking, and response quality evaluation, is a plus • Experience with vector databases and semantic search, including pgvector, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch k-NN, Qdrant, Milvus, Weaviate, or similar technologies, as well as embedding models, is a plus • Experience with agents, tool orchestration, and integration protocols such as MCP and function calling is a plus • Familiarity with evaluation and guardrails for AI systems is a plus • Experience with containers and orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes, and observability platforms is a plus • Knowledge of application security, including OWASP, SAST/DAST, and vulnerability management, is a plus
