📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate backend services and data-driven applications supporting core business workflows • Build and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines using Python and SQL • Develop data ingestion workflows using APIs and batch processing • Replace manual and spreadsheet-driven processes with automated systems, internal tools, and dashboards • Contribute to server-rendered frontend development using HTML, HTMX, and Jinja • Improve testing, performance, security, monitoring, and data quality • Troubleshoot production issues • Contribute to architecture decisions and technical planning • Take ownership of projects from development through deployment • Collaborate with product, data, and operations teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong backend engineering background • Strong English communication skills (B2–C1 or above) • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL • Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL; PostgreSQL is preferred • Experience with Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse, including data ingestion and processing • Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS CDK, or similar, plus familiarity with CI/CD • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs and/or GraphQL, authentication, and authorization • Experience with unit and integration testing • Ability to work independently, lead technical efforts, and deliver practical solutions in a fast-moving environment • Experience with HTML, HTMX, Jinja templates, or Python-based server-rendered applications • Experience with Apache Airflow or another data orchestration platform is nice to have • Familiarity with React, Next.js, Angular, or JavaScript is nice to have
