• Conduct regular visual and instrumental inspections of solar panels, inverters, transformers, and other electrical components • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in PV systems using specialized tools and equipment • Use monitoring software and tools to track system performance, identify abnormalities, and ensure optimal energy output • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including inspecting connections and replacing worn parts • Perform all work in accordance with safety regulations and procedures • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance data
• Electrical technician diploma or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering • Valid IIIB ANRE certification is a strong plus • Good command of written and spoken English • Strong understanding of solar PV technology, electrical systems, and mechanical components • Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical problems effectively • Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for working with electrical equipment • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients • Proficiency in computer software for monitoring, reporting, and communication • Ability to analyse complex situations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities
