📋 Description

• Plan, design, and execute test cases for APIs, covering all possible scenarios • Validate API contracts (requests/responses, status codes, headers, and payloads) according to technical documentation • Identify, document, and report bugs clearly and objectively, prioritizing by severity and impact • Collaborate with developers and the Product Manager within the squad • Participate in refinement sessions and agile ceremonies to understand requirements before development • Execute regression tests on existing endpoints after new releases • Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the automated API test suite • Validate data directly in the database when necessary, ensuring consistency between the API and the persistence layer • Propose continuous improvements to testing processes and overall team quality

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as a Quality Analyst/QA working with API testing • Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, or similar) • Strong understanding of REST and GraphQL concepts, including HTTP methods, status codes, and authentication • Familiarity with JSON and ability to read API documentation • Good written communication skills for clear documentation of bugs and test cases • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines • Preferred: experience automating APIs using Playwright and TypeScript
