📋 Description

• Facilitate, automate, and scale deployment, configuration, and monitoring of large-scale cloud-native SaaS and on-premises applications • Streamline CI/CD pipelines for rapid, frequent, and reliable automated builds • Mentor and assist engineering teams in building, managing, and monitoring high-performance cloud applications • Manage and maintain Kubernetes platforms • Collaborate with development squads to identify requirements for building and deploying complex applications • Design and implement automated deployment and configuration of AWS cloud-application workloads • Develop, advise on, and troubleshoot monitoring and management frameworks for cloud-resident workloads • Assist teams in architecting manageable, scalable, and highly observable cloud-native applications • Troubleshoot and resolve environment and configuration issues • Analyze logs and monitoring data and proactively communicate potential risks to stakeholders • Manage and communicate environment state, versioning, and availability to Developers, QA, and wider team members • Maintain and optimize shared development tools for branching, tagging, building, releasing, and reporting • Provide on-call support on weekends once a month

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer • Practical experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, or Rancher • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar languages for automation • Proficiency with Linux distributions such as Ubuntu and CentOS • Deep understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery principles • Broad knowledge of AWS services, specifically CloudFormation, EC2, ECS, and EKS • Expert use of Git and GitHub within a distributed team environment • Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting using PagerDuty, Zabbix, and LogicMonitor • CKA, AWS Solutions Architect, or AWS SysOps Administration certification (desirable) • Ansible experience (desirable) • Experience with CloudFormation or Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (desirable) • Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions internally and externally (desirable) • Legal authorization to work in the jurisdiction where the position is posted without employer sponsorship
