⢠Collaborate with Level Designers and Art Director to maintain visual quality and gameplay clarity ⢠Help develop the current team by sharing knowledge, techniques, and best practices ⢠Model environment assets including modular pieces, props, terrain elements, and hero assets ⢠Perform set dressing, including composition, storytelling through props, decals, and scene staging ⢠Work inside the engine to build and polish level art daily ⢠Ensure technical performance through LODs, draw calls, and memory optimization without sacrificing visual ambition ⢠Fill gaps in modular kits with high-quality models ⢠Review team members' work constructively
đŻ Requirements
⢠5+ years in environment art / level art for games ⢠Strong portfolio showing own environment modeling ⢠Strong portfolio showing set dressing work ⢠Strong modeling skills using Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max ⢠Game engine proficiency in Unreal 5 or Unity ⢠PBR knowledge ⢠Texture creation using Substance ⢠Optimization skills ⢠Willingness to model and dress environments, not just direct others ⢠Leads by doing and works hands-on with the team ⢠Interest in helping a team grow
