📋 Description

• Work with engineers to turn business requirements into technical requirements and clear technical specifications • Own and drive the product and engineering roadmap from planning through execution • Lead, mentor, and manage the engineering team, ensuring accountability, productivity, and high performance • Act as the primary liaison between the CEO/Founder, Product Designer, and Engineering team • Translate business goals into product and engineering priorities • Oversee project timelines, sprint planning, resource allocation, and delivery milestones • Collaborate with development, design, and growth teams on innovative and scalable solutions • Develop and maintain key features of the existing platform • Identify innovative ways to enhance customer experience and platform usability • Maintain, manage, and scale the current technology stack • Own responsibility for the code and product

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of full-stack development experience • More than 6–8 years using React and Ruby or Python • TypeScript experience optional • AWS experience optional • Ability to iterate quickly and ship code regularly • Customer-first mentality focused on delivering excellent user experiences • Relentlessly high standards and dissatisfaction with the status quo • Self-motivated and passionate about building relationships and growing a business • Comfortable working in an environment of continual adaptation and change • Comfortable working until 2:00 PM Pacific Time • Willingness to use a time-tracking platform for attendance and payroll purposes
