📋 Description

• Build, scale, ship, and monitor the platform reliably using Java, Python, MySQL, NSQ, HBase, AWS, and Kubernetes • Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and complete feature work • Improve delivery processes, systems, and tools; champion technical initiatives and direction • Uphold project quality and planning by meeting deadlines, breaking down work, and ensuring testing and monitoring • Mentor engineers through knowledge sharing and feedback on pull requests and technical designs • Deploy and modify production systems; interact with SQL/NoSQL data stores and NSQ messaging queues • Monitor production service health and respond to outages and bugs while on support duty • Design, maintain, scale, and build distributed systems handling millions of requests and messages daily • Lead technical architecture meetings, identify technical debt and performance bottlenecks, and coordinate project dependencies • Partner with Infrastructure to improve reliable, highly available service delivery

🎯 Requirements

• 4 years experience developing and supporting software in a production environment • 3 years experience programming in object-oriented languages such as Java, Python, or C++ • Professional English proficiency in verbal and written communication • Preferred: 3 years experience developing and supporting scalable, distributed backend services • Preferred: 3 years experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases • Preferred: Professional Polish proficiency in verbal and written communication
