📋 Description

• Execute core accounting processes from start to finish, including organizing data sets, cash reconciliations, preparing and recording journal entries, and reconciling balance sheet accounts • Support compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls • Learn finance systems and help ensure automated processes operate effectively • Document workflows and suggest process improvements • Maintain fixed asset and prepaids schedules • Prepare accruals and perform cash reconciliations • Collaborate with AP and Payroll teams • Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects • Maintain and improve SOX compliance, including participating in SOX documentation and testing • Own assigned close processes for Sprout Social and its subsidiaries • Prepare client support and communicate core accounting processes to the external Big 4 audit team • Assist in evaluating internal controls through process and system improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Candidates must be based in the Philippines • 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience • Strong proficiency in spreadsheet software • Solid organizational and attention-to-detail abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to learn quickly and contribute effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment • Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Past Finance/Accounting experience within a high-growth technical company • Familiarity with building processes as a business scales • Desire to evaluate and strengthen internal controls through process and system improvements • Proficiency in NetSuite accounting system • Ability to record journal entries and intercompany transactions • Ability to retrieve data for transaction review and financial reporting • Preferred: solid working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting operations • Preferred: familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP system • Preferred: interest in process improvement and understanding of enhancing internal controls • SaaS or tech industry experience is a plus
