📋 Description

• Prepare business financial reports and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders • Review individual tax returns for accuracy and compliance • Liaise with bookkeepers to review BAS-prepared financials before proceeding to tax compliance • Ensure all work meets Australian tax law and ATO requirements • Flag discrepancies or issues with the director in a timely manner

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in Australian tax compliance and financial reporting • CPA qualified (or equivalent) with strong knowledge of Australian tax law • Solid experience with Xero • Familiar with compliance requirements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders • Strong written English and clear communication skills • Self-directed and able to manage workload independently • Availability expected to overlap with Australian business hours • Must disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work • Must reflect this engagement on LinkedIn as “Independent Contractor”
