📋 Description
• Obtain prior authorizations and verify patient eligibility using insurance payer portals and platforms. • Educate patients referred by physicians on the sleep apnea treatment process and answer care-related questions. • Manage high-volume inbound and outbound phone calls with excellent, professional customer service. • Assist with patient communications, administrative coordination, and patient recall campaigns as needed. • Coordinate seamlessly with the in-office team to ensure smooth patient handoffs for scheduling and follow-ups. • Utilize Restful EMR and Weave VoIP software to accurately document interactions and manage patient communications.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of medical office experience in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonology, ENT, or Neurology. • Strong hands-on experience with insurance verifications, authorization processes, and insurance payer portals. • Confident managing high-volume inbound and outbound patient calls with clear, professional communication. • Ability to educate patients on clinical processes and set clear expectations after physician referrals. • Experience with Restful EMR and Weave VoIP platforms is strongly preferred.
