📋 Description

• Perform insurance verifications and confirm patient benefits and coverage • Handle insurance pre-authorizations • Prepare, submit, and follow up on medical claims • Monitor claim status and resolve billing issues or rejected/denied claims • Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances • Review accounts for accuracy and identify discrepancies • Follow up with insurance companies regarding unpaid or pending claims • Maintain accurate billing documentation and patient account information • Use ChiroTouch to manage billing-related information and workflows • Provide light administrative support related to billing and patient accounts • Communicate professionally with the U.S.-based healthcare team • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on medical billing experience • Previous experience working with a chiropractic practice • Hands-on experience with ChiroTouch EMR — mandatory/non-negotiable • Strong knowledge of medical billing and claims processes • Experience with insurance verification and pre-authorizations • Experience managing accounts receivable (A/R) • Strong understanding of insurance claims follow-up and resolution • Excellent English communication skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment • Comfortable working with a U.S.-based healthcare team • Reliable internet connection and professional work-from-home setup • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM • Experience with denied, rejected, or unpaid claims preferred • Experience with insurance follow-up and payment posting preferred • Familiarity with chiropractic billing workflows and terminology preferred • Experience using Intermedia phone systems preferred • Additional healthcare administrative experience preferred
