📋 Description

• Draft thorough QME, AME, and IME reports based on clinical findings, patient histories, and physician notes • Review, organize, and summarize voluminous medical records, diagnostic test results, and prior treatment histories into clear chronological summaries • Apply the AMA Guides (5th Edition) for Whole Person Impairment (WPI) calculations, causation analysis, and legal apportionment standards • Collaborate with evaluating physicians to ensure reports meet substantial medical evidence standards and statutory filing deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience drafting California QME/AME medical-legal reports for a medical group, QME practice management firm, or consulting firm • Strong mastery of the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment (5th Edition) • Knowledge of California Workers' Compensation terminology and medical-legal reporting guidelines • Exceptional medical writing and editing skills • Acute attention to detail • Ability to accurately translate complex clinical findings into structured reports • Schedule availability Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm PST
