📋 Description

• Facilitate technical alignment across teams by drafting and reviewing technical documentation • Lead architecture sessions, meetings, and workshops on code design patterns and development techniques • Serve as a technical reference and bridge between engineering, product, business, and design professionals • Ensure technical alignment with the company’s strategic objectives • Promote engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, automation, reliability, and observability • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the engineering culture across teams and throughout the company • Mentor developers, share expertise, support career development, and help develop emerging technical leaders • Safeguard the architectural integrity of systems by promoting consistency, controlled evolution, and compliance with the company’s technical principles • Participate in technical forums, architecture reviews, and design decisions • Balance innovation with legacy systems, autonomy with alignment, and agility with technical sustainability • Demonstrate curiosity about new technologies and explore how Artificial Intelligence can transform processes, experiences, and outcomes • Work on Starian’s Sienge product, a SaaS solution for the construction industry, legal intelligence, operational efficiency, and governance and compliance

🎯 Requirements

• Previous experience leading, mentoring, and influencing other developers or teams to consistently improve the quality of their deliverables and advance their engineering practices • Current position must be Level 3 Software Developer (or equivalent) or higher (such as Specialist) • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Clean Code, Design Patterns, SOLID, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Hexagonal/Clean Architecture, and related concepts • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests, including unit, service, and integration tests • Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD), testing patterns, appropriate use of Mocks/Test Doubles, and testing tools, frameworks, and libraries • Fluency in Agile Software Development, continuous integration, incremental delivery, pair programming, KISS, YAGNI, and continuous refactoring • Strong communication, reasoning and persuasion skills, negotiation ability, capacity to give and receive feedback, empathy, and humility • Knowledge of or interest in Artificial Intelligence technologies, including tools, applications, and concepts
