📋 Description

• Design, develop, and evolve business-critical services and features • Participate in technical and architectural decisions by evaluating trade-offs and proposing sustainable solutions • Take ownership of production systems, monitoring their behavior, performance, availability, and evolution • Build applications with performance, scalability, security, availability, reliability, and resilience in mind • Identify technical, architectural, or development process gaps and propose improvements • Ensure quality through automated testing, code reviews, observability, and engineering best practices • Investigate and resolve production issues, identifying root causes and preventing recurrence • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other teams to define and evolve solutions • Act as a technical reference by sharing knowledge and supporting the development of other engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience in backend software development • Experience developing applications and services using Go (Golang) • Solid knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MySQL • Experience developing and maintaining APIs and system integrations • Knowledge of automated testing strategies and best practices • Ability to critically analyze code, architecture, and documentation • Experience working with production applications, with a focus on observability, reliability, and performance • Ability to discuss technical solutions, evaluate trade-offs, and clearly communicate decisions • Strong collaboration skills in code reviews • Autonomy to take complex problems from understanding through to production resolution • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, or similar • Experience with high-scale, highly available, or mission-critical systems • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP • Knowledge of messaging and streaming systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ • Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture, Event Sourcing, CQRS, or Hexagonal Architecture • Experience with non-relational databases • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices • Knowledge of observability, metrics, tracing, and application monitoring • Experience in financial services, payments, or highly transaction-critical products
