📋 Description

• Build and ship robust backend services and frontends with real product impact • Ensure systems are scalable, performant, and easy to maintain • Collaborate across teams to integrate services and deliver end-to-end value • Model business domains into clean, performant data structures • Coach and mentor other engineers on best practices • Collaborate with engineers and lead technical delivery on initiatives within a domain or project • Lead by example in engineering excellence, pragmatism, and shared ownership • Enable global enterprises to distribute creative assets across multiple channels and dynamically transform assets into multiple output formats • Implement new features and scale existing capabilities for Storyteq’s creative production and marketing campaign platform

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering full-stack products with TypeScript, JavaScript, and PHP (Laravel) • Strong backend development skills with PHP (Laravel) • Experience with Vue.js or other front-end frameworks • Experience designing and integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs • Comfortable working in monorepo environments and modular architectures • Proficient in data modeling and SQL/NoSQL databases • Familiarity with testing practices, performance tuning, and scalable design principles • Proactive, result-driven approach and enthusiasm for a fast-growing tech scale-up • Confidence making architectural decisions and communicating trade-offs • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Nice to have: affinity with rendering technologies such as ffmpeg • Nice to have: affinity with motion graphics and visual effects software such as After Effects • Nice to have: experience with GitLab CI/CD, DevOps, and public cloud platforms such as GCP
