• Conduct comprehensive compliance reviews and audits of health insurers, plans, and issuers. • Perform market conduct examinations to assess adherence to state and federal regulations. • Analyze data and prepare detailed reports on findings. • Collaborate with state government agencies, health insurers, plans, and issuers, and other stakeholders to address compliance issues. • Provide expert advice on regulatory requirements and best practices. • Stay up to date with changes in state health care regulations and policies.
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field • Proven experience in health care actuarial or similar work, preferably with state government compliance reviews • Familiarity with state government health audits or market conduct examinations is highly desirable • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Must have either an Associate (ACAS) or Fellow (FCAS) Casualty Actuarial Society credential.
