📋 Description

• Directs and coordinates educational, administrative and counseling activities of high school students. • Ensures conformance of educational programs to state and local school board standards. • Researches and implements non-K12 curriculum resources that meet state standards. • Articulates the school’s mission and vision ensuring all stakeholders work cooperatively to achieve desired results. • Interfaces with students, families, local Municipal Court systems, and local districts regarding compliance. • Develops and oversees implementation of the school’s Student Achievement Improvement Plan. • Supervises and evaluates teaching staff, manages teacher performance, and trains employees.

🎯 Requirements

• Virginia Special Education Teaching Certification required. • Previous Supervisory Experience. • Master's degree AND Five (5) years of educational experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ability to clear required background check. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.) and web proficiency. • Ability to travel 20% of the time for meetings, professional development, etc.
