Synergia Consultoria Socioambiental is a Brazilian socio-environmental consultancy that designs and implements solutions for public and private organizations to address social and environmental challenges. It provides services in crisis management and contingency planning, territorial relations and development, social development with local communities, and knowledge management through studies, diagnostics and research. 📋 Description

• Plan, organize and execute socio-environmental actions outlined in project work plans across areas such as education, environment, health, social communication, land tenure negotiations, involuntary resettlement and local development, among others; • Mobilize community members for activities required to implement projects and coordinate the inter-institutional engagement necessary for project success; • Prepare studies and/or reports describing the social, economic and environmental conditions of project target communities; • Conduct household visits and family profile assessments for inclusion in socio-environmental programs; • Monitor socio-economic and environmental indicators for assigned projects; • Support the development of participatory and inclusive methodologies in community consultations for project implementation; • Assist in organizing and facilitating public hearings for client project approvals; • Mediate discussions between communities and clients to address project-related issues; • Engage with affected communities, provide information about projects and planned actions, organize meetings, collect documentation and identify specific needs; • Perform internal (office) tasks such as organizing field materials, preparing reports and work control spreadsheets, planning activities and providing team training;

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Sciences (Social Sciences, Economics, Geography) or a related field. • Previous experience in projects involving community engagement and the implementation of research. • Solid experience in data management and socio-economic indicators. • Good communication skills and ability to interact with diverse audiences. • Valid category B driver’s license (CNH B) and at least 2 years of driving experience required. • Residence in São Paulo (or the metropolitan area). • Availability for occasional travel.
