📋 Description

• Lead the event-driven architecture; • Platform governance (deployment, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Confluent Kafka clusters); • Create and configure resources such as topics, Schema Registry, KSQL, Kafka Connect, etc.; • Monitor, debug, and optimize Kafka cluster performance, ensuring low latency and high resilience; • Provide technical support and training to internal teams on Confluent Kafka best practices and usage; • Develop scripts and automation to manage Kafka infrastructure and ensure high availability and scalability; • Produce detailed documentation of the architecture, deployment processes, and operational procedures; • Define architecture and development standards (documentation, best practices, design patterns); • Define and implement security policies: access profiles, roles, and authentication protocols; • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities to leverage the platform; • Cost control (FinOps).

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience implementing and managing Confluent Kafka and components such as Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, Schema Registry, etc.; • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP; • Strong knowledge of distributed systems architecture and real-time data management; • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Dynatrace and Grafana); • Knowledge of messaging protocols and queueing systems (Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ); • Ability to solve complex problems and deliver effective solutions in a timely manner; • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams; • Experience defining architecture and development standards; • Ability to analyze complex issues related to data integrations and implement effective solutions; • Experience in event stream processing using Kafka Streams or other event-processing tools; • Desirable: Confluent certifications such as Confluent Certified Developer or Confluent Certified Administrator.
