📋 Description

• Take responsibility for ensuring every component in the supply chain is delivered at quality and on time • Implement statistical process control methods for critical-part manufacturing and ensure suppliers reflect them in process control plans • Run rapid sprint analyses with design engineers after supplier production or OQC failures • Unblock shipment releases using risk-mitigative actions and keep production running with effective preventive measures • Update and implement quality control documentation based on root cause analysis • Audit compliance with quality requirements at new suppliers • Work with suppliers to quickly close non-conformances

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in quality management for high-volume manufacturing • Production of electromechanical products is preferred • Proven experience in responding to and resolving quality issues rapidly to minimise production disruption • Demonstrated first principles thinking and ability to hone in on the most important issues during audit or reviewing problems • Experience working with suppliers to achieve required outcomes based on context • High proficiency (written, verbal and reading) in English and Mandarin • Relevant quality-related qualifications such as ASQ certification (e.g. CQE or CQA) are beneficial • Formal Internal Auditor Certification is beneficial • Willing to travel regularly around APAC (25%+ of your time) • Guangdong, China based with travel to Thailand and New Zealand, or New Zealand based with 50%+ travel to China and Thailand
