📋 Description

• Own the architecture, design, delivery, and evolution of the TaxAct mobile application across iOS and Android. • Lead mobile capabilities including authentication, biometrics, secure storage, notifications, deep linking, device integrations, performance, and app store operations. • Define the appropriate balance between native mobile and web-based experiences. • Drive platform quality, reliability, security, and maintainability. • Evaluate emerging technologies and modernize the mobile platform where appropriate. • Act as the technical lead for mobile initiatives across engineering, product, design, security, and platform teams. • Operate independently to identify opportunities, define solutions, and drive execution. • Build prototypes, evaluate technologies, and solve complex technical problems. • Advise stakeholders on mobile architecture, platform capabilities, user experience, release strategy, and operational excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience building, shipping, and operating production mobile applications. • Proven ownership of complex mobile applications or platform capabilities across iOS and Android. • Experience driving initiatives from concept through production with minimal direction. • Experience supporting the full mobile lifecycle, including releases, observability, crash analysis, performance optimization, and platform upgrades. • Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering effectiveness. • Experience modernizing applications while maintaining production stability.
