📋 Description

• Build and maintain CPQ Apex extensions, including Quote Calculator Plugins, pricing-rule callbacks, product configurator extensions, and custom-script replacements • Develop billing automation for schedules, invoice generation, payment processing, credit notes, and billing exceptions • Build amendment and renewal logic, including co-term calculations, proration, contract-line management, and renewal opportunity creation • Design invocable Apex methods for Record-Triggered and Screen Flows • Develop Lightning Web Components for quote-line editors, pricing calculators, product configurators, approval UIs, and billing dashboards • Use Platform Events and Change Data Capture for real-time integrations and downstream notifications • Write batch, queueable, and scheduled Apex for high-volume Revenue Cloud operations • Design and build Salesforce Flow automation at scale • Implement validation rules, formula fields, and Apex constraint logic for data quality • Build integrations with ERP, billing, and financial systems • Develop REST and SOAP API integrations with error handling, retries, idempotency, and monitoring • Maintain integration payloads, field mappings, and data-contract documentation • Own development, code review, testing, sandbox validation, staging deployment, and production release • Use Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for deployments • Manage metadata deployments, change sets, scratch orgs, and sandbox refreshes • Write Apex unit tests and troubleshoot production issues • Apply AI-native development workflows and contribute reusable patterns to TechTorch's accelerator library • Collaborate with architects and consultants on technical build plans and design reviews • Mentor junior developers and produce technical documentation, API specifications, data-flow diagrams, and deployment runbooks

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience with strong hands-on implementation delivery • 3+ years of direct, hands-on Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ and/or Billing) development experience, with code written and deployed to production • Proven delivery of at least two end-to-end Revenue Cloud development engagements from technical design through go-live • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification required • Production-level Salesforce Revenue Cloud development experience, not only configuration • Deep understanding of CPQ and Billing data models • Experience with CPQ Apex extensions, custom pricing logic, product configuration callbacks, amendment flows, renewal automation, proration, and co-term billing logic • Experience integrating Revenue Cloud with NetSuite SuiteBilling, ZoneCo, Stripe Billing, or equivalent systems • Expert Apex development, including triggers, classes, invocable methods, batch, queueable, scheduled, and test classes • Strong Lightning Web Component development, including component composition, wire adapters, Apex integration, and UI API • Deep understanding of governor limits, SOQL and DML best practices, bulkification, and performance optimisation • Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, including OWD, role hierarchy, sharing rules, with-sharing/without-sharing, field-level security, and permission sets • Proficiency with Flow Builder, including Record-Triggered, Screen, Autolaunched, Subflows, and Apex-called/invoked patterns • Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, Bulk API, Streaming API, Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and Composite API • Experience designing bi-directional integrations with error handling, retries, idempotency, and monitoring • Familiarity with MuleSoft, Workato, or similar iPaaS tools • Proficiency with Salesforce DX, Git, scratch orgs, and metadata-driven development • Experience with GitHub Actions, Copado, Gearset, or equivalent CI/CD tooling • Commitment to meaningful unit tests, peer review, static analysis, naming, and documentation standards • Ability to troubleshoot governor limits, SOQL performance, asynchronous failures, integration errors, and Flow errors • Demonstrated AI-native development capability using LLM-assisted development and AI-supported documentation • Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and technical documentation abilities • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, and other listed certifications are preferred, desirable, or a plus
